aiengineer.me is a hand-maintained directory of people who build with AI and the teams that want to work with them. It is a reading surface: each entry is a page you can link to, quote, or send to a colleague. There is no matching engine and no algorithm behind it.
What it is
- One page per engineer, team, or collective, written in plain language.
- Entries are dated with the day they were last confirmed with their subject.
- Everything is static: no accounts, no logins, no stored profiles.
What it is not
- Not a job board, applicant tracker, or recruiting pipeline.
- Not a ranked list. Entries are ordered by when they were last confirmed, nothing else.
- Not scraped. Nobody is listed without knowing about it and agreeing to it.
- Not a lead list. Contact details published here are the ones the subject chose to share.
How an entry gets in
Someone writes in, we talk about what the entry should say, and the text is confirmed with the subject before it is published. Entries that go stale are re-confirmed or removed. Because every listing is reviewed by a person, the index grows slowly, and that is the intended pace.
Independence
No placement is for sale, no listing is boosted, and there is no advertising on these pages. If that ever changes, it will be stated here in plain terms, on this page, before it takes effect.
Corrections and removals
Any subject can have their entry corrected or deleted by asking. Write to hello@aiengineer.me and it will be handled — no reason required, no retention argument.
Privacy
These pages ship no analytics, no tracking pixels, no cookies, and no third-party scripts. The site is static HTML and CSS. The only data anyone gives up here is whatever is in an email they choose to send.
Colophon
Built with Astro as static files and served from Cloudflare Pages. Set in the system serif and monospace faces already on your device, so there are no web fonts to download. The directory content lives in plain Markdown files with a validated schema, which is why the pages are so consistent and so boring to render.
